Paul Robson

Operations Director

Paul has over 25 years of experience across the construction industry.

He has worked across a wide range of construction disciplines including groundworks, traditional build, timber frame, modular construction and modern methods of construction (MMC).

Paul began his journey as a joiner, progressing through supervisory, project management, operations and manufacturing leadership roles. He’s also worked as a consultant, helping shape business cases and delivery on frameworks for public sector projects.

Known for his solutions driven mind-set, Paul is adept at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, always with an unwavering commitment to safety, quality and client satisfaction.

At Volumec, Paul is responsible for the operational delivery of projects nationwide. He works closely with our teams and partners to ensure every project is completed safely and to the highest standards with a clear focus on building strong relationships and exceeding stakeholder expectations.

Away from work

Paul is an early riser and more often than not, he’s already been to the gym and had his breakfast before most people start their day.

Away from the demands of construction, Paul’s top priority is providing for his children and giving them the best of what they need, a principle that quietly drives everything he does.

He has a genuine love of the outdoors and is most at home exploring nature, often taking long walks that tie in with his passion for fitness and clean living.

He also previously volunteered as a Coastguard Rescue Officer, a role that perfectly reflected his steady sense of responsibility and commitment to helping others.
