Rebecca Coleman

Finance Director

Rebecca is a highly-experienced Finance Director with a proven track record across both accountancy practice and industry. With a strong background in construction and extensive board level experience, she plays a pivotal role in shaping Volumec’s financial strategy, governance and long-term business performance.

Rebecca’s career has followed a progressive path through the finance profession from learning her trade and qualifying as an ACCA accountant to management accounting roles and then moving into the construction sector.

She has steadily advanced through Finance Manager, Head of Finance and now Finance Director positions across several fast-paced, complex businesses.

Known for her pragmatic and hands on leadership style, Rebecca brings clarity and confidence to financial management while also maintaining a strong commercial perspective. She is deeply interested in the story behind the numbers, always keen to understand the operational and strategic drivers that sit beneath the financials. Her approach builds trust at every level, from board and investors through to operational delivery teams.

At Volumec, Rebecca provides the financial stewardship and governance that underpin the company’s growth, while contributing as a key member of the leadership team. She is committed to ensuring that finance is both a trusted partner and a positive, collaborative part of the wider business.

Away from work

Rebecca balances her role at Volumec with family life. Her husband serves in the armed forces and she is a dedicated and hands-on mother, who also values time spent with family and friends. Juggling both worlds with remarkable ease, she brings the same positive energy and focus to the workplace.

A strong believer in the importance of team culture, Rebecca is always an enthusiastic presence at company events, whether a team meal or a social night out, bringing warmth and an infectious smile that makes her a valued colleague both inside and outside the boardroom.
